My Products....

You asked for it, so here it is...pics of my products. You'll see my TIGI Bed Head Chocolate Head - used about every 4 to 5 months - my Aveda (I ran out of my Deep Penetrating....gotta make a trip to Seattle for that), and my hair butters from http://www.fromnaturewithlove.com . I try to keep it as simple as possible. I shampoo with Kenra Moisturizing Shampoo, but just about all of 'em are the same. I figure it's best to focus on the conditioners.

Length is real

I have always been a FIRM believer in keeping it 100% nappy. I will remain this way for the remainder of my life. THIS is why. First off, welcome to my napptural hair care blog. This was not created to worship my hair or anything like that, but it is a place for black women to find inspiration. Inspiration to be nappy. Inspiration to remain nappy. Inspiration to accept themselves the way they are without needing to change for anyone or anything else. I NEVER use heat on my hair, and as you can see from the photos, my hair growth in the now more than THREE years that I've been natural (July 17, 2002 is the nappyversary date for me) speaks for itself. I decided to do a braid out today and here are the results. The brown, almost blondish flecks of color you see in my hair were naturally created by the sun this summer. Yeah, it DOES get hot in Washington state. I look forward to posting more on this blog!
