Deep Conditioning Night...

Viola! Whoop, there it is, and all that late 1990s stuff. ;-p Tonight, I decided to use my TIGI Moisture Maniac Conditioner to deep condition with. I parted my hair in two (the top portion has already been "done" in this pic) and slathered my hair full of conditioner.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I always semi-wet my hair with water before putting in my conditioner. This helps the conditioner to get into all those little pores/spaces in your hair that it needs to get to in order to condition properly. In the pic, you can see that I've already loaded the top part of my hair with conditioner and braided it up. The bottom portion has been wet and loaded with conditioner and is waiting for me to braid it above. Below, the finished processed. From start to finish, this takes me about 20 minutes. In the morning, I shampoo with Kenra Moisturizing shampoo, then let Neutrogena T-Sal Shampoo sit on my scalp for a minutes. I follow up with some conditioner, Paul Mitchell The Detangler - forgot to photograph it - then comb through my hair with my Jilbere shower comb. I do this about once a week or every other week.

Additional Products....

I almost forgot about these products that I use on a fairly regular basis. The 911 I use sparingly, but it's still an excellent product to have. I went on a mission for this the last time I was in Seattle and bought about 5 bottles to keep in case of emergency, LOL. The Aveda leave-on conditioner is fantabulous, as are all of the Aveda products I've used.
