Deep Conditioning Night...

Viola! Whoop, there it is, and all that late 1990s stuff. ;-p Tonight, I decided to use my TIGI Moisture Maniac Conditioner to deep condition with. I parted my hair in two (the top portion has already been "done" in this pic) and slathered my hair full of conditioner.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I always semi-wet my hair with water before putting in my conditioner. This helps the conditioner to get into all those little pores/spaces in your hair that it needs to get to in order to condition properly. In the pic, you can see that I've already loaded the top part of my hair with conditioner and braided it up. The bottom portion has been wet and loaded with conditioner and is waiting for me to braid it above. Below, the finished processed. From start to finish, this takes me about 20 minutes. In the morning, I shampoo with Kenra Moisturizing shampoo, then let Neutrogena T-Sal Shampoo sit on my scalp for a minutes. I follow up with some conditioner, Paul Mitchell The Detangler - forgot to photograph it - then comb through my hair with my Jilbere shower comb. I do this about once a week or every other week.

What types of hair styles do you wear daily?

Anna,
Are you shampooing or no'pooing everyday? I ask because as it gets cold over here on the East Coast, I can not do that do my hair that often. If so, what is the benefit from doing it every day? I do let the moisture get to my hair in the shower. However, I would really like some length, and I am wondering if it is the washing and no'pooing that is making the difference with your hair.
